October 2009 Yet another new member (the fourteenth) - Bernard Wroe - Looking after the boat for his son Steve who is an expectant father. Will he ever give it back?
October 2009 Don Davidson returns to Delph and takes over Louis' boat as Louis retires - thus we still have thirteen active members.
October 2009 Two new members: Tom Walton - IOM sailor and (ex?) dinghy sailor from Leigh and Lowton SC and Dave Woodhead - RYA coach and Elton SC member. A warm welcome chaps. We are now up to thirteen members.
September 2009 Tony has proposed some changes to the way we organise series racing next year - basically breaking the year into six week blocks with holiday sessions and the like. Here is a link to the  2010 draft programme,. Another idea is to race on Sunday afternoon during the off-season and aim to end as the bar opens - more exposure of the RC Class to DSC members. EGM arranged to facilitate Radio Controlled Laser membership at Delph. The following article was agreed:

10(f) RCL Members, who shall be entitled only to participate in the sailing of Radio Controlled Lasers in accordance with arrangements made by the Club for such an activity.

23rd February 2009 Proposal at AGM from retiring Commodore and new Commodore, on behalf of General Committee, to establish RC Laser membership. Due to time constraints the proposal could not be given the 21 days notice required to be voted upon at the AGM so an Extraordinary General Meeting will be held after sailing on the first day of the new season.
13th February 2009 Best turnout to date - seven DSCRCL members sail. Chris Pickles sails with video camera - see homepage for link to his movie!
9th February 2009 DSC Sailing Committee hears proposals for RC Laser Membership. So far so good. Next stop General Committee 23rd February.
8th February 2009 GBR 815 goes international - to Dublin - see report on Results page.
6th February 2009 JC fit enough to resume racing after back trouble.
18th January 2009 Plan to attend Southport Travellers Trophy event - 1045 start.
13th January 2009 First Committee meeting at Cross Guns. Proposals agreed to put to DSC Sailing Committee.
9th January 2009 Tony provides five new marks in fluorescent colours - no excuses now.
25th December 2008 Santa brings Louis Moulden a new RC Laser!
21st December 2008 Four went to Lancaster and sailed in a hoolie - see results.
19th December 2008 Chris Pickles wins first ever recorded RC Laser race at Delph
18th December 2008 Roy Cooper and Matt have their new boats. We are now a fleet of  seven - we qualify for fleet status and our own start! You heard it here first. Watch this space!
