Club Racing

Still racing on Wednesday mornings 1000 for 1030 and on Friday afternoons 1300 for 1330. Dress informal, buoyancy-aid mandatory.

Currently we are racing the Autumn Points Series, which is scheduled to finish just before Christmas week on Friday 19th December 2009.

Visitors are welcome on Wednesdays and Fridays - check with David by email:  dave@helme.org.uk If I can I will bring along the Club Boat for you to have a go but make sure you contact me first, I would hate for anyone to turn up and for us not be there.

Humbug Race

Last year we held the first (annual?) DSCRCL Humbug race (a one day event for Club members - a bit of fun and a get-together) on the Tuesday before Christmas, won by Pix.  JC supplied a bottle of wine and Pix some cream cakes. Shall we do it again on Tuesday 22nd December 2009? I spoke to Pix at the 'Commodore's Challenge' on Saturday and he was up for it - are you? Spread the word. (Sorry about the earlier confusion - it is Tuesday 22nd)
